Recount Writing-My Nan and Papa.

I am learning to use the correct structure for Recount Writing.

In the weekend I went with my Nan and Papa. They picked me and my brother up from my other Nan’s motel. My dad was shaving me and my brother’s hair.

Then we went to my Nan and Papa’s house. They live up Te Pua Road.

We haven’t seen them in a long time.

We gave them a big hug.

Next our cousins came and our aunt came. She came first. Then my uncle came.

We gave them a big hug too.

After that we were playing with the toys. Then we all fell asleep. The next day we went to see my mum’s grave. That was nice. I miss my Mum.

She took care of me.

She helped me when I needed help.

She gave me kisses and hugs.

Mum played with me.

I miss my mum so much.

I love my mum.
