I will try my best to achieve my goals

During the holidays I was at home with my dad. 

We were at home cleaning up. 

Next my dad started the weedeter for me and he was mowing
the lawns with the lawnmower. My brother was watching tv.
After I finished I was picking up the  rubbish. Then my nan
came out she was cleaning up inside because it was my Aunt's
birthday the next day that's why we were cleaning up, I was so
happy. I put the lights up on the tree then I let the dogs out for
a run my dads dog name is bro my brothers blad my sisters
strike my one blue he's the best. When the dog had a big run I
put them back in. when my dad finished the lawn he was
making raw fish I don’t eat fish im eledreck I just had a drink
of couldel. Then my nan gave me a chocolate she said
just to me don’t tell

I gave you a chocolate my nan said she had to go then
my dad found out that I had a chocolate then he started
to chase me we ran down the hill back up then I got tired
then he caught me he said
where did you get that chocolate
from I said from nan he said give ammy one then I did.

 In the weekend me, my dad, my sisters, my brother, my cousins my aunty and my uncles were at the beach. We were diving for kinas and crayfish. Me, my brother, my sister, my cousins, and my aunty stayed on the beach while my dad and uncles went diving. While they went diving we went to go look for crabs and I found one. I put it in the plastic bag but we couldn't find any more crabs. After that we went for a swim. It was freezing in the water. Then I had an idea I said, “Let's dig a big hole and put water in. It would look like a bath.’’ when we went in it was freezing like the water. When we got out my dad and my uncles got out we went to my house and had a feed.

In the holiday me, my dad, my brother and my sister went to the
movies. We were in Whangarei. We watched the Lion King. 

I had a huge smile on my face when it started. Me and Ariana
went to get popcorn, chocolate and my dad a drink. When we
got back a monkey was lifting up Simba. 

My dad said to me, “This is cool.” I said, Yeah it is.” 

When Simba's dad was killed by Scar. Scar just wanted to be
king. Scar scratched him and pushed off the cliff. 

Scar was Simba’s dads brother. Simba didn’t know Scar pushed
his father off the cliff. He thought he fell off. 

When simba went to his dad scar said to simba run and he was
running fast as hi could scar said to the hyenas kill him and the
hyenas were running fast then simba fell off a cliff and the
hyenas thought he died but hi dident he just passed out a pig
and a weasel saw him the pig said its a lion and the weasel said
its not and when the weasel went up close to simba the weasel
said its a lion run for your life when simba woke up the weasel
said this is all a dream.

                      At home 

In the weekend me, my dad and

my brother stayed home.

First I was asking my dad if we can go to Whangarei.

He was always saying no and I said,

“Last weekend you would have let us go.”

Dad said nothing. 

After that, it started to rain and I was like,

“Ohh we’re too late. See we couldn't have gone to Whangarei.” 

Then the rain stopped and then my nan,

my papa, my aunt and my uncle and

my sister bought food out to Awarua for us.

It was fish, sandwiches and meat. It was yum.

My cousin brought 3 dolls. 2 big ones and 1 small one.

I didn't want to play with them,

because they looked scary. 

I went inside and my nan was hiding chocolate.

She only gave me one. I said, “Thank you Nan.”

Then she asked, “Who wants chocolate?” 

Everyone wanted chocolate so they

all came running to Nan.

In the morning I was making a paper windmill and what I found out was when I made a big pinwheel it was too floppy. It got stuck on the handle but if I made a small one it wouldn't get stuck on the handle because it wasn’t floppy. If I put a bead on it it will give it space to spin faster.

Homework

Learning is important.

We need to learn at school and at home.

I think we should do homework every day.

Firstly I think we should do homework

every day because we can get 100% in our spelling. Secondly I think we should do our homework every day so

our brain can grow smarter.

Thirdly I think we should do homework

every day so we can move up

levels in our in our learning.

So that’s why we have to do homework every day.

Persuasive writing-Brushing Teeth

Recount Writing-My Nan and Papa.

I am learning to use the correct structure for Recount Writing.

In the weekend I went with my Nan and Papa. They picked me and my brother up from my other Nan’s motel. My dad was shaving me and my brother’s hair.

Then we went to my Nan and Papa’s house. They live up Te Pua Road.

We haven’t seen them in a long time.

We gave them a big hug.

Next our cousins came and our aunt came. She came first. Then my uncle came.

We gave them a big hug too.

After that we were playing with the toys. Then we all fell asleep. The next day we went to see my mum’s grave. That was nice. I miss my Mum.
